My wife and I go to estate auctions (you know, auctions where you buy stuff that used to belong to dead people). Then we sell items on eBay. We've been doing it for almost two years.

The culture of eBay is fascinating - what people expect from you and how they communicate. And the ratings people get tell you how likely they are to understand those cultural expectations.

The culture of eBay would make a great article in and of itself one day.
