I have been thinking of mail clients lately as I have been extensively using Outlook at work and every trick I learn, I want to write about it.

This will be a series of articles on mail clients. I have introduced the topic of mail clients in today's article and I will be writing about configuring mail clients, some tricks etc. I hope this series would be a guide for all those people who are wanting to try a mail client.

Anyway, I use MS exchange at work and I think it's the best thing in this whole wide world. I don't have to know anybody's email address. I can just type their name and press Ctrl+K, to get their email address inserted. Also, I could recall messages if I feel that I could have sent a better message than the previous one.

I am just sold on Outlook and it has become my favorite mail client. I have tried several others like Lotus notes, Thunderbird, Eudora etc but none come closer to Outlook in terms of ease of use and the features it offers. Some features that draw me to Outlook are integrated calendar, contacts, notes and task list.

In my next article, I will write about configuring mail clients.
