I am Jace Shoemaker-Galloway, Feature Writer for Suite101’s Technology Internet section. If you are looking for current, up-to-date Internet information, this is the place to be! As the Internet is rapidly changing, it is sometimes difficult to keep up with all the new gadgets and trends, updates and important news. That’s where we come in. On a personal note; the past several years of my life have been dedicated and devoted to the issue of Internet Safety education and awareness. What began as a "hobby" or “interest” has turned into something more than I ever expected! I am the Regional Office of Education #26 Internet Safety Coordinator, which covers 10 school districts in my area. Each week, I work with over 500 children at my elementary school where Internet Safety is a huge part of my job. I’ve been happily employed by my school district for six years working with children in grades K-3 and 7-12. I love what I do!
