If you're tired of using the same old fonts, why not try something different? Write upside down! Amaze or aggravate friends and family with free text flippers.
Many people tend to use standard fonts when composing emails, documents and messages. Why not try something totally new and different to liven up those messages? Write your next message, upside down!
Friends and family members will have a ball trying to decipher the clever messages. Besides entertaining family, friends and co-workers, there are a few other uses for writing upside down. Why not use the upside down text to create unique logos, letterhead or hard-to-crack passwords? Creativity is key.
The following websites offer free upside down text flippers. Most work with lowercase letters only.
Free Online Flip Text Generators
Sherv.Net Flip Text Generator - This website offers an easy-to-use flip text generator. Simply type or paste the text into the first box on the webpage. As the text is being typed into the box, the text will automatically flip upside down. Users have the option of copying and pasting the converted text in two different ways. Paste the upside text into an instant messaging client such as Yahoo or MSN Messenger or paste the text into emails, blogs or websites such as Facebook and MySpace. Internet Explorer and Firefox is recommended. The upside down text may not appear on Mac systems.
Flip Text – Flip Text is a no-frills website that is simple and straight forward to use. Just type the text in the first box and click “Flip Text.” The words will instantly be turned upside down in the second box.
Flip Title – This upside down word generator is compatible with various instant messaging services and social networking sites including Facebook, MySpace, Bebo and YouTube. Type or paste text in the first box and the text will automatically convert.
Seven Wires Upside Down Letters – This site uses a Javascript program that converts letters into Unicode symbols and characters. The converted text is compatible with Twitter, Craigslist, Gmail, Word, Facebook, MySpace and MSN. This program only works with lowercase letters - it is not compatible with uppercase letters or numbers.
Flip a Text – This is another simple-to-use text flipper. Simply type the text into the first box, click “ Flip” and voila!
File Format Unicode Upside Down Converter – Type the text into the box on the main page and click the “Convert” button located at the bottom of the page. A second page opens with the converted text. This upside down text converter is able to convert most uppercase letters.
