Companies constantly offer free products and samples to entice new customers. Freebies websites make it possible to take advantage of dozens of free offers each week.

Freebies are those free samples that companies send out to interest new customers in their products. They are also the free stuff that new online stores send to new and prospective customers to bring traffic into their site. They are often brand new products that have yet to make a name for themselves.

No matter what type of product they are, freebies are 100 percent free items with no shipping charges, no membership fees and no commitments to buy anything. There are several websites that compile freebies from various product sites and Web stores across the Internet.

Miscellaneous Freebies

Most freebies sites are devotes to free stuff of all types. Freegrabber is a site that posts miscellaneous freebies each day as they are posted online. Absurdlycool.com also has daily lists of all types of freebies. Wal-Mart has also started its own free sample page that is updated every few days.

Startsampling.com offers a similar collection of a few free samples that are updated often. By using StartSampling, freebie hunters can also save up site points that can be redeemed for free items such as tote bags, t-shirts and restaurant gift certificates.

Category Freebies

Some sites categorize the free stuff into specific categories to make the freebies search easier. Heyitsfree.net is run blog style each day, but keeps its freebies organized in categories. Freestuffheadquarters.com is another site that updates daily and keeps categories of freebies for easier use.

Some freebie sites are entirely devoted to just one category of free items. Catalogs.com complies free catalogs for hundreds of companies. Babytobee.com is focused entirely on baby freebies. All-freemagazines.com compiles free magazine subscriptions of all types.

Free Online Stuff

There are also a number of sites that offer free stuff that is only available online. Free-ebooks.net offers thousands of ebooks completely free. The Project Gutenberg site offers thousands of books and ebooks that can be downloaded for free. Books written in 20 languages are available and more aare added to this online library every day.

There are several sites that compile free print outs like coloring book pages and math problems. Thehomeschoolmom.com offers free homeschool items such as poster printouts and worksheets.

Other sites compile free online items for online use such as templates or wallpaper. Freewebtemplates.com has a wide range of Web templates available, including free WordPress templates.

By using freebies sites, it's possible to get small items in the mail every day. They can be used to stretch the monthly budget or to try out new products for free. The freebies sites listed here are generally free of scam links and "freebies" that require a purchase. Beware of sites that are vague about what is being offered for free.

There are also sites that require a membership fee for access to the free items. But, there are so many free items available online on so many freebie websites that there is never a reason to pay for a freebie site membership.
