Never miss an appointment, birthday or anniversary again with free digital post-it notes. Organize busy schedules and boost productivity with computer reminder notes.

In today’s society, life runs at a frantic pace. Many people lead busy and stressed-out lives. And trying to find the time to accomplish everything that needs to be done in 24 hours can be overwhelming and stressful in itself.

Many people make lists to help manage tasks, appointments and daily chores. Although paper reminder notes and to-do lists are handy and helpful, sometimes the lists are misplaced or damaged. By using digital post-it notes, all lists and notes are located in one convenient spot, the computer desktop. With everything in one convenient location, life becomes more manageable, more productive and less stressful.

Don’t miss that important homework assignment, job interview or anniversary again. The following digital post-it notes will help make life run more smoothly and efficiently.

Free Digital Post-It Notes:

  • Post-it Software Notes Lite - From the makers of the familiar yellow Post-It notes, 3M has created a digital version of their popular self-stick product. This small application is simple and straightforward. To create a new reminder note, just hover the mouse over the post-it icon located in the computer system tray, and drag the mouse to peel off a new note. The free download allows users to easily change the text color and font size of the note and also includes a handy alarm feature. The program is compatible with Windows XP/2000/ME/98.

  • Scribble-it - This small download allows users to print, delete, mail, sort and set alarms for important reminders. A handy calendar is conveniently located underneath the note. The size of the Scribble-it notes are larger than some of the other freeware programs. Compatible with Windows XP/2000/NT/98/95, Scribble-it is an easy to use program.

  • Free Sticky Notes 5.1 - The Free Sticky Notes interface is clean and simple. Users can change font colors and background color of the note itself. Users can also lock, hide, set priority levels, transparency ratios and use hotkeys. The size of the notes can be adjusted by dragging the corners. Users can also send notes to others and print the stickies as well. All Sticky Notes save automatically and are encrypted with 256-bit key encryption. This free program, from MoRun, is compatible with Vista and XP.

  • Hott Notes - This handy program offers some pretty nifty features. Not only can users create new post-it notes, but users can also create handy checklists and scribble notes for doodling fun. Users can change the font size, colors and opacity level. The “Show Note Desktop” mode dims all the computer desktop windows except for the Hott Notes, making the notes easier to view. Hott Notes is compatible with Windows Vista/XP and 2000. Although this tool is freeware, donations are accepted.

  • Post-It Emai - Send a friend or family member a Post-It note via email. Select from a variety of note shapes and colors, type the message or reminder and send. It's that simple.

  • Stickies 6.7 – From Zhorn Software, this free program is small, simple and customizable. Users are able to change the fonts, buttons and background color of the notes. Other features include printing, hiding, alarms, resizing and snooze functions. Users can also attach the notes to various folders, files and websites. If an Internet connection is available, users can send notes back and forth to each other. The program is compatible with various Windows operating systems including Vista.

  • TurboNote - TurboNote has been around for more than ten years. Users can adjust colors and fonts, lock, hide, resize, print and send to others. Other features include hotkeys, alarms and a Quick Launch option. TurboNote+, a shareware version, is also available.

Life will become more manageable, better organized and less stressful with the free digital post-it notes listed above. For information about free online to-do lists, read Create and Manage To-Do Lists Online.
